FLIPPED EFL CLASSROOM

Hello, everyone! In this blog post, I will talk about a new experience of mine: Creating a grammar teaching video for a flipped EFL classroom. Flipped EFL classroom approach is basically a reverse of inside and outside classroom activities. Students are responsible for other curricular such as watching videos, visiting course-related websites, listening to audios, reading related references, and so on. It is a beneficial approach when applied correctly because it has so many advantages. For example: Students get the first material on their own, at home. This allows students to become familiar to the process of self-study and to learn at their own speed. Also, Flipped classrooms provide up more time for interactive learning, research, experimentation, and practical application.  However, even though it has pros, it also has disadvantages. Corpus - based materials offer a more real portrayal of language usage. Because traditional materials often lack authenticity, corpora are critical for reducing the gap between academic knowledge and actual application. Exposure to real-world language usage not only improves the learning environment, but it also helps to build linguistic intuition.
